About Me

David Nalls Founded Reconciliation Recovery Unlimited in 2016 after being established as a Recovery Coach with Urban Minority Drug and Alcohol Outreach Program (UMADAOP) in 2012.  David has worked The Ohio State University to establish the job, duties, and tasks of Recovery Coaches for the State of Ohio, that service later became Peer Recovery Support Specialist and provided a state certification. David was invited to provide the professionalization of peer support for Ohio Mental Health & Addiction Services (OMHAS) at the Peer conference announcement.In 2023 he completed his portion of the new Ohio Peer Support Certification Curriculum Module 1 What is Peer Support, Recovery, and Sharing Your Story. Not only has David worked to promote and develop Peer Recovery Support services state wide, he has worked with Centene, the largest Medicaid managed care organization who provides healthcare services to individuals through government-subsidized programs. By proposing Recovery and Peer service information, David aided in establishing the knowledge of Peer Recovery resulting in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role creating the onboarding learning journey for Peer services. 

Having years of Recovery Maintenance Experience coupled with a formal education, David has been invited to participate as a n SME and writer on several projects regarding the subject of recovery.
